Sale and Promotions
At various points in the year we will offer sales and promotions on select styles. Any such discounts cannot be applied to orders placed prior to their announcement.
When placing your order, you must provide an address at which our courier can obtain a signature when delivering your parcel.
Each online order will be delivered to a single address. In cases where different delivery addresses are required for different items, you will need to place a separate order for each of the addresses that you would like us to ship to.

All UK orders will be sent via DHL. Next day delivery will occur on all orders placed before 12pm Monday-Thursday, with any orders placed after 12pm on a Thursday to be delivered the following Monday. You will receive a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.
Orders to all countries outside of the UK are fulfilled by Global-e, our international delivery partner. At checkout, all products and shipping prices will be shown in your local currency, with up to 40 convenient methods of payment and a range of languages available
Global-e offers Express Tracked and Standard Tracked shipping options. Express orders will be sent via DHL, whilst Standard Tracked orders will be sent using the best option available in each country. In both cases you will receive a tracking number once your order is dispatched.
Orders sent via Standard Tracked shipping will take up to 20 working days from the date of dispatch (approximately 1 Month) to be delivered. The tracking link provided will not be updated continuously, so please allow up to 5 working days between each status update. Please also ensure that any duties and taxes applicable to your shipping destination are paid on time to avoid your order being held at customs.
Shipping costs are calculated based on delivery country, selected shipping method, number of items and total parcel weight. Product prices may also vary based on your location to reflect local market pricing, taxes and exchange rates.
*Please note that shipping rates shown at checkout do not include any customs charges or import duties levied when the package reaches your destination country. For certain shipping destinations you will be offered the option to pre-pay duties and taxes at checkout; shipping methods that support pre-payment will be clearly identified during checkout.

We offer Free Returns to all Full Price UK orders. All purchases made from our online sample sale are final. No refunds, exchange or credit note only.
How to return your order:
- Please click on this link to request a return. You will be issued a return number.
- Fill out the returns form (sent with your item), marking which items you are returning and include inside your parcel.
- Place the items you would like to return in the original packaging, including all Shrimps labels.
- Attach the adhesive DHL returns label to the outside of your parcel (included in your order). Contact us to request a new label if you don't already have one.
- Drop off your parcel at a nearby DHL Service point, which you can find here.

For all orders placed using the Harper Shipping Concierge service, once the order is finalised with Harper at your appointment any returns after this point will have to be at the expense of the customer.

We are not currently able to offer free returns on international orders. For all International returns, unless an item is damaged or faulty, the customer is required to arrange and pay for the return of the product(s) to us.
How to return your order:

- Once your return is approved please follow the instructions at this link. Add your order number and email address, before choosing from two options for your return: a Self-Paid Return or a Prepaid Courier. Note that the cost of the Prepaid Courier will be deducted from the total value of your refund.
- Fill out the returns form (sent with your item), marking which items you are returning and include inside your parcel.
- Place the items you would like to return in the original packaging, including all Shrimps labels. Attach your return label to the outside of the box.
- Exchanges will be shipped, and refunds processed as soon as possible once your original item has been received by our warehouse.
You can request a return for your order within 14 days of receiving the package. In this case, any sum debited from your credit or debit card for the returned items will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible, no more than 14 days after our fulfillment centre has notified us that they have received your return.
We are only able to offer a refund if the items are returned clean, unworn, in their original packaging and with all tags and labels attached. For hygiene reasons pierced jewellery cannot be returned.
Any non-faulty items that are returned in a condition unsuitable for resale (e.g. washed, soiled or damaged) will not be refunded. In such cases we will contact you and arrange to send the item (s) back to you.
Please note that you have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the items while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, your entitlement to a refund may be affected. We request that you do not remove tags until you are completely sure that you would like to keep an item.
Upon receipt of an order, if any item has been delivered with no tags, you should notify us by email on the same day. We strongly advise all customers to check garments thoroughly upon delivery before removing any attached tags and before disposing of any original packaging.
Advice for returning goods
All items to be returned must have a Return Number prior to sending. This number can be obtained by emailing email@example.com within 5 working days of receiving your order. Once you have received a return number, please take care to follow the instructions emailed to you. You cannot return goods without this number and we reserve the right to refuse/return any unidentified returns that we receive.
Please be aware that international customs duties and sales taxes will NOT be refunded for shipments outside the European Community (EC). It is the customer’s responsibility to retain copies of all tracking information and to ensure that the returned goods arrive to Shrimps within the specified timeframe. Please note that Shrimps cannot accept liability for any returns lost during transit, so we encourage customers to follow the above advice and track their package carefully.
When returning items, we strongly recommended obtaining proof of postage and/or relevant airway bills and documentation from your courier. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit, as such you are advised to arrange your own insurance.
We are happy to exchange item(s) from your original order for the same style in a different size or colour, subject to availability. As with returns, the item(s) to be exchanged must be returned within 14 days of your order being delivered. Exchanged items will be dispatched once returned goods have been received, processed and checked.
We offer Free exchanges on all UK orders.

Naturally, we will accept returns for any items that are damaged or faulty on arrival. Any such items will be inspected by our team once received before the return is confirmed. Note that items with irregularities resulting from the handmade nature of many of our items may not be accepted as faulty.
We will happily replace a faulty item if a replacement is in stock and available. If you would like to be sent a replacement, please make this clear when emailing us to request your Return Number. Note that we are unable to provide replacements in an alternative size or colour.
In cases where we are unable to offer a replacement, you will have the choice of receiving a credit note or a refund to the value of the item at the time of purchase, plus any shipping costs incurred. Please note that refunds to credit cards can take up to 30 days and are subject to your bank’s refund regulations.

Sustainability at Shrimps
As a small independent brand, achieving true sustainability in all areas of our business is inevitably a work in progress. With our origins as a cruelty-free brand, an ethical approach to fashion remains pivotal to the Shrimps ethos, and below are some of the ways we are currently working to become as sustainable as possible.
Where possible we always try to establish long-standing relationships with artisans and craftspeople for the production of our collections. All of our beaded accessories are made by hand in India at a factory with which we have worked closely to develop technical innovations and new techniques, combining them with those passed down over generations.
We also work with a number of London-based artisans for both sampling and production, helping us to reduce our shipping impact whilst also supporting independent local businesses.
Shrimps has never used animal leather or fur in any product, in line with our commitment to cruelty free fashion.
As a natural, long-lasting material with self-cleaning properties, wool continues to feature prominently in Shrimps ready to wear. Each season we source tartan fabrics from Scotland produced using traditional techniques.
We have recently debuted several innovative fabrics made from recycled fibres, including recycled wool outerwear in PF20 and a recycled polyester faux-sheepskin for AW20.
As an ongoing project, we are working to replace all of our packaging elements with recyclable or biodegradable options. Most recently we have introduced recyclable packaging for all jewellery and hair accessories.
For every order placed on our website, we plant one tree in partnership with One Tree Planted. Customers are given the chance to vote on our next planting location, and have so far planted trees in the Amazon Rainforest, Australia, Kenya, Ethiopia, Ghana, Rwanda and Uganda.
- We are always open to ad-hoc opportunities to lend our voice or make donations to charitable/philanthropic projects and causes.
Our design ethos centres on products that last beyond seasonal trends, coupled with our use of high quality materials and thoroughly tested production techniques, our aim is that every Shrimps piece can and will be treasured for many years.
- Our detailed care instructions help to protect the longevity of our products, and in rare instances of fault or failure we endeavour to repair items rather than replace them.
Faux fur pieces should be stored in a dry place away from heat. All of our faux fur is dry clean only, however you can easily freshen up or spot clean at home by spraying a little water on the jacket using a clean spray bottle, combing through with a bristle brush (sisal or nylon brushes make good vegan alternatives to traditional boar bristle brushes), then blow drying on a cool setting. Think of it as a faux fur pampering session!
Beaded Bags and Accessories
Our beaded bags and accessories are handmade artisan products; slight variations are to be expected and careful treatment is advised to keep them in perfect condition. Avoid contact with rough surfaces, sharp objects, and extended periods in direct sunlight. We recommend storing your Shrimps item in its box or dust bag.

Often we find that careful spot cleaning and/or steaming will do the trick to refresh your Shrimps pieces before their next wear. However, when the time comes for a more thorough clean, we recommend using an eco (perchlorethylene-free) dry cleaning service, which will generally be both gentler on your clothes and less harmful to the environment.
If your Shrimps item has been damaged, our production team will be happy to offer suggestions and advice for repair; email a photo and description to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be sure to get back to you.
Given recent developments in the COVID-19 outbreak, we would like to reassure you of the measures we have in place to ensure the safety of our customers, employees and partners.
Our warehouse and delivery drivers are following the World Health Organisation’s latest recommendations with regards to closely monitoring staff wellbeing, minimising interpersonal contact and the regular sanitisation of hands and equipment. Where is this service available?
Harper Concierge currently serves Greater London (all 32 boroughs) and will appear as a shipping option at checkout if you’ve entered a qualifying postcode.
How do I place my order?
Add the items you'd like to try to your bag, as many as you want! Once you’re happy with your selection, click ‘Try at Home’. You’ll then be taken to a page where you can choose your 1-hour delivery slot and provide contact details - that’s all Harper needs, no payment is taken at checkout!
When can I book my appointment?
One hour slots are available 10am through 10pm, 7 days a week. For a weekend appointment, make sure to book before 1pm on Thursday for the upcoming weekend. Once booked, you will receive an SMS confirming your appointment date and time. Should you need to change this time, simply reply to the SMS and Harper’s Style Concierge will be in touch shortly thereafter.
Who brings my Shrimps pieces?
One of Harper’s Style Concierge will arrive during your selected time slot along with all of the pieces you’ve chosen to try on.
How do I pay?
We’re currently operating a contact-free service. Once you’ve found your which pieces you'd like to keep, let your Style Concierge know and they will send you a payment link via SMS so you can pay for the pieces you love from the comfort of your own home.
What if I don’t want to keep the pieces?
Harper will return any pieces you don’t want to keep directly to Shrimps, so no need to worry about posting any returns!
What is Harper’s complementary assistance?
If you'd like a second opinion and/or assistance, your Style Concierge will be available via a phone call or Facetime during your appointment. We usually offer in-home assistance, which is temporarily unavailable in light of the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak.
How long will I have to try my pieces?
You will have 40 minutes to try your Shrimps pieces and decide which ones you would like to keep.
Is there any obligation to buy?
None at all. Harper helps you find and keep only the pieces you love, whilst making it easy to return any pieces you don’t — saving you time and effort. There are no hidden or additional charges, nor an obligation to buy.
How many items can I try on?
We encourage you to try as many styles as you’d like to, and to order multiple sizes should you be unsure of the best option.
How much does the service cost?
The cost of the service is free for all customers throughout March 2022. Usually the service is free when you spend over £250 or £10 for purchases under £250.

1.1 Buying products on our website
After placing an order with us, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted.
We must receive payment in whole for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us, and availability of the product you have ordered is verified, we will send you an email confirming that your order has been accepted and has been dispatched. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us.
All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible, before accepting your order, if the goods you have ordered are not available.
1.3 Prices and Payment
All prices on the Shrimps Website are given in British Pounds Sterling (£) and are shown inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate of 20% but exclusive of delivery costs. Please see the Shipping section in FAQS for current delivery costs and dates.
If your order is being dispatched to a destination outside the European Union (EU) then VAT will be deducted at the checkout stage and this will be shown on your invoice. If your order is being dispatched to a country which is a member state of the EU then the total price will include VAT at the current rate.
Please note Shrimps has no control over any customs or import duties that could be levied when the package reaches your destination country and for which you will be liable.
You must pay by debit, credit card or via Paypal at the time of the order. The price of any product is the price in force at the date and time of your order. We may change the price of any product before you place an order. Before accepting your order, we will inform you if a product's correct price is higher than that stated in your order and you may cancel the order.
Shrimps Bespoke Service
You are not able to make changes to your design once final production starts, so we strongly advise that any changes you wish to make to your design are done during the pre-production stage.
For all made to order garments, a 50% non-refundable payment (of total garment price) is due at the time the bespoke product development begins and the remainder must be paid before final shipment of the dress. Shrimps LDN Ltd will invoice the client and payment can be made through bank transfer. Garments will not be released until full payment has cleared.
We are not responsible for any change in size that may occur after you have sent your measurements. Do not hesitate to contact us if you are unsure about anything that pertains to your measurements. Shrimps LDN Ltd will not be held responsible for any sizing/fitting mishaps caused by inaccurate measurements.
The client is responsible for any shipping, duties and taxes incurred during delivery of the final garment.
As our bespoke garments are made to order, there are no exchanges or refunds. All sales are final. If the garment balance is late past 14 days we will add a £50 per week charge, or if the garment is left unclaimed past the event date, the garment becomes property of Shrimps LDN Ltd and any deposits or payments are forfeited.
If for any reason the event is cancelled, you are still responsible for full payment of your garment and payment dates originally agreed will remain in force.
As our bespoke garments are made to order, once the bespoke contract is signed you are liable for the full payment at the due date even if you change your mind and no longer wish to take delivery of the item.

1.4 Cancellation of Order
Under the Distance Selling regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within 1 hour after the order confirmation. If you want to cancel your order, you need to notify us in writing at email@example.com within 1 hour. Once you have notified us, any sum debited from your credit, debit card or Paypal account will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 14 days of your order.
1.5 Conditions for Returning Goods
All items intended for return must have a Returns Number (RN). RNs must be obtained within 14 working days of receipt of delivery. To obtain a RN number please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Once you have received your RN number, please ensure that you follow the instructions emailed to you and send your return within the next 7 working days. Notification of returns received outside of the above time frames will not be accepted. For all returns, except where the item is faulty, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the products to us. Please be aware that international customs duties and sales taxes are not refunded for shipments outside the European Community (EC).
We will only accept returns provided that the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return the goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you.
You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the items while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, your entitlement to a refund may be affected. We request that you do not remove tags until you are completely satisfied that the items will not be subject to return within 14 days. We also request that items are returned with their original packaging.
This is not intended to be a full statement of your rights under the distance selling regulations. Full details of your rights under the distance selling regulations are available from you local Citizen’s Advice Bureau or your Local Authority’s Trading Standard’s Office. Shipping charges are not refundable.
Subject to stock availability, we will exchange items that are returned to us within 14 days of being received by you. Please note we can only exchange an item for the same item in a different size. If you want to exchange your order, you need to notify us in writing within those 14 days and request an Exchange Number (EX). Once you have notified us and your return has been received, your new item will be dispatched to you as soon as possible.
1.7 Faulty Goods
All items returned as faulty will be inspected and any items deemed subject to wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty. We will replace a faulty item if a replacement is in stock and available. If you wish to be sent a replacement, please make your request clear when emailing to receive your Returns Number.
In case we cannot offer you a replacement, you will have the choice of receiving a credit note or a refund to the value of the item at the time of purchase and any shipping costs occurred. Please note that refunds onto credit cards can take up to 30 days and are subject to your bank’s refund regulations.
Our liability for losses you suffer as a result of us breaking this agreement is strictly limited to the purchase price of the Product you purchased and any losses which are a foreseeable consequence of us breaking the agreement. Losses are foreseeable where they could be contemplated by you and us at the time your order is accepted by us.
You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from our site. The importation or exportation of certain of our goods to you may be prohibited by certain national laws. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchase.
Nothing in these terms and conditions limits any statutory rights you might have as a consumer or our liability to you for any fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
