Before placing an order with Shrimps you must make sure to read and agree to these terms and conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these, then you should contact our customer service via email at customercare@shrimps.co.uk before placing your order with us.
1.1 Buying products on our website
After placing an order with us, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted.
We must receive payment in whole for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us, and availability of the product you have ordered is verified, we will send you an email confirming that your order has been accepted and has been dispatched. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us.
1.2 Availability
All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible, before accepting your order, if the goods you have ordered are not available.
1.3 Prices and Payment
All prices on the Shrimps Website are given in British Pounds Sterling (£) and are shown inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate of 20% but exclusive of delivery costs. Please see the Shipping section in FAQS for current delivery costs and dates.
If your order is being dispatched to a destination outside the European Union (EU) then VAT will be deducted at the checkout stage and this will be shown on your invoice. If your order is being dispatched to a country which is a member state of the EU then the total price will include VAT at the current rate.
Please note Shrimps has no control over any customs or import duties that could be levied when the package reaches your destination country and for which you will be liable.
You must pay by debit, credit card or via Paypal at the time of the order. The price of any product is the price in force at the date and time of your order. We may change the price of any product before you place an order. Before accepting your order, we will inform you if a product's correct price is higher than that stated in your order and you may cancel the order.
Shrimps Bespoke Service
You are not able to make changes to your design once final production starts, so we strongly advise that any changes you wish to make to your design are done during the pre-production stage.
For all made to order garments, a 50% non-refundable payment (of total garment price) is due at the time the bespoke product development begins and the remainder must be paid before final shipment of the dress. Shrimps LDN Ltd will invoice the client and payment can be made through bank transfer. Garments will not be released until full payment has cleared.
We are not responsible for any change in size that may occur after you have sent your measurements. Do not hesitate to contact us if you are unsure about anything that pertains to your measurements. Shrimps LDN Ltd will not be held responsible for any sizing/fitting mishaps caused by inaccurate measurements.
The client is responsible for any shipping, duties and taxes incurred during delivery of the final garment.
As our bespoke garments are made to order, there are no exchanges or refunds. All sales are final. If the garment balance is late past 14 days we will add a £50 per week charge, or if the garment is left unclaimed past the event date, the garment becomes property of Shrimps LDN Ltd and any deposits or payments are forfeited.
If for any reason the event is cancelled, you are still responsible for full payment of your garment and payment dates originally agreed will remain in force.
As our bespoke garments are made to order, once the bespoke contract is signed you are liable for the full payment at the due date even if you change your mind and no longer wish to take delivery of the item.

In cooperation with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden, we offer you the following payment options.

1.4 Cancellation of Order
Under the Distance Selling regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within 1 hour after the order confirmation. If you want to cancel your order, you need to notify us in writing at customercare@shrimps.co.uk within 1 hour. Once you have notified us, any sum debited from your credit, debit card or Paypal account will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 14 days of your order.
1.5 Conditions for Returning Goods
All items intended for return must have a Returns Number (RN). RNs must be obtained within 14 working days of receipt of delivery. To obtain a RN number please email customercare@shrimps.co.uk. Once you have received your RN number, please ensure that you follow the instructions emailed to you and send your return within the next 7 working days. Notification of returns received outside of the above time frames will not be accepted. For all returns, except where the item is faulty, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the products to us. Please be aware that international customs duties and sales taxes are not refunded for shipments outside the European Community (EC).
We will only accept returns provided that the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return the goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you.
You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the items while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, your entitlement to a refund may be affected. We request that you do not remove tags until you are completely satisfied that the items will not be subject to return within 14 days. We also request that items are returned with their original packaging.
This is not intended to be a full statement of your rights under the distance selling regulations. Full details of your rights under the distance selling regulations are available from you local Citizen’s Advice Bureau or your Local Authority’s Trading Standard’s Office. Shipping charges are not refundable.
1.6 Exchange
Subject to stock availability, we will exchange items that are returned to us within 14 days of being received by you. Please note we can only exchange an item for the same item in a different size. If you want to exchange your order, you need to notify us in writing within those 14 days and request an Exchange Number (EX). Once you have notified us and your return has been received, your new item will be dispatched to you as soon as possible.
1.7 Faulty Goods
All items returned as faulty will be inspected and any items deemed subject to wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty. We will replace a faulty item if a replacement is in stock and available. If you wish to be sent a replacement, please make your request clear when emailing to receive your Returns Number.
In case we cannot offer you a replacement, you will have the choice of receiving a credit note or a refund to the value of the item at the time of purchase and any shipping costs occurred. Please note that refunds onto credit cards can take up to 30 days and are subject to your bank’s refund regulations.
1.8 Liability
Our liability for losses you suffer as a result of us breaking this agreement is strictly limited to the purchase price of the Product you purchased and any losses which are a foreseeable consequence of us breaking the agreement. Losses are foreseeable where they could be contemplated by you and us at the time your order is accepted by us.
You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from our site. The importation or exportation of certain of our goods to you may be prohibited by certain national laws. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchase.
Nothing in these terms and conditions limits any statutory rights you might have as a consumer or our liability to you for any fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

You confirm that all information supplied by you in using this website is true and accurate and that you have the legal authority to purchase goods or services using this website.

This website, these terms and conditions and any contract entered into as a result of usage of this website are governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. The parties to any such contract agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Shrimps may change this Policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This Policy is effective form 04.08.2014.

2. Who collects and processes Your Personal Data, how and for which purposes?
Shrimps London Ltd is the controller of your Personal Data as we determine the Commercial Purposes and means of processing Personal Data. For the Commercial Purposes only, Shrimps London Ltd has appointed certain entities that will also process Personal Data relating to the Site’s Users (herein the "Processors").
The above mentioned service providers and Processors have been chosen because of their experience in processing Personal Data and they provide sufficient guarantees regarding compliance with data protection laws (including the technical security measures governing the processing to be carried out). In processing the Personal Data for Commercial Purposes, the Processors shall act only under the instructions from Shrimps London Ltd. Some of the Processors of your Personal Data appointed by Shrimps London Ltd for Commercial Purposes directly are:
- DHL, for purposes related to shipping, delivering and returning products purchased on www.shrimps.com;
- Shopify, for purposes related to the housing of Shrimps London Ltd servers;
- GMAIL Ltd UK, for purposes connected to providing Customer Service services to the Site’s Users;
- Klaviyo for purposes related to sending out Marketing Newsletters and Surveys;
- Global-E, Shopify, Klarna, Harper & Pay Pal for purposes related to payment transactions;
- Facebook & Instagram for purposes related to sending out Marketing Campaigns;
- Rakuten for purposes related to first & third-party data collection for Digital Marketing campaigns
For the Commercial Purposes, we collect your Personal Data (such as personal details, e-mail address, address, Credit Card numbers, bank code, IP address and telephone number, etc.) on your order form only for the purpose of selling the products ordered by you. Your Personal Data is mostly processed by electronic means and, in some circumstances, by paper-based means, such as when the processing of your Personal Data is required for preventing fraud on the Site. Your Personal Data shall be stored in a way which allows us to identify you for the period necessary for the purposes which the data was collected for and subsequently processed and, in any case, in accordance with applicable laws. 3. What Happens if You Do Not Disclose Your Personal Data to us?
Granting your Personal Data to us (in particular, your personal details, your e-mail address, your address, your Credit/Debit Card numbers and bank code and your telephone number) is necessary for processing your order for the purchase of products on the Site, supplying other services provided on the web site upon your request, or when your Personal Data is needed to fulfil obligations required by law or regulations. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Personal Data will not be disclosed to any other third parties or disseminated or transferred without informing our Users of such disclosure/dissemination/transfer, and, in any case, in accordance with the applicable laws.

Where is this service available?
Harper Concierge currently serves Greater London (all 32 boroughs) and will appear as a shipping option at checkout if you’ve entered a qualifying postcode.
How do I place my order?
Add the items you'd like to try to your bag, as many as you want! Once you’re happy with your selection, click ‘Try at Home’. You’ll then be taken to a page where you can choose your 1-hour delivery slot and provide contact details - that’s all Harper needs, no payment is taken at checkout!
When can I book my appointment?
One hour slots are available 10am through 10pm, 7 days a week. For a weekend appointment, make sure to book before 1pm on Thursday for the upcoming weekend. Once booked, you will receive an SMS confirming your appointment date and time. Should you need to change this time, simply reply to the SMS and Harper’s Style Concierge will be in touch shortly thereafter.
Who brings my Shrimps pieces?
One of Harper’s Style Concierge will arrive during your selected time slot along with all of the pieces you’ve chosen to try on.
How do I pay?
We’re currently operating a contact-free service. Once you’ve found your which pieces you'd like to keep, let your Style Concierge know and they will send you a payment link via SMS so you can pay for the pieces you love from the comfort of your own home.
What if I don’t want to keep the pieces?
Harper will return any pieces you don’t want to keep directly to Shrimps, so no need to worry about posting any returns!
What is Harper’s complementary assistance?
If you'd like a second opinion and/or assistance, your Style Concierge will be available via a phone call or Facetime during your appointment. We usually offer in-home assistance, which is temporarily unavailable in light of the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak.
How long will I have to try my pieces?
You will have 40 minutes to try your Shrimps pieces and decide which ones you would like to keep.
Is there any obligation to buy?
None at all. Harper helps you find and keep only the pieces you love, whilst making it easy to return any pieces you don’t — saving you time and effort. There are no hidden or additional charges, nor an obligation to buy.
How many items can I try on?
We encourage you to try as many styles as you’d like to, and to order multiple sizes should you be unsure of the best option.

Before placing an order with Shrimps you must make sure to read and agree to these terms and conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these, then you should contact our customer service via email at customercare@shrimps.co.uk before placing your order with us.
1.1 Buying products on our website
After placing an order with us, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted.
We must receive payment in whole for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us, and availability of the product you have ordered is verified, we will send you an email confirming that your order has been accepted and has been dispatched. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us.
1.2 Availability
All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible, before accepting your order, if the goods you have ordered are not available.
1.3 Prices and Payment
All prices on the Shrimps Website are given in British Pounds Sterling (£) and are shown inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate of 20% but exclusive of delivery costs. Please see the Shipping section in FAQS for current delivery costs and dates.
If your order is being dispatched to a destination outside the European Union (EU) then VAT will be deducted at the checkout stage and this will be shown on your invoice. If your order is being dispatched to a country which is a member state of the EU then the total price will include VAT at the current rate.
Please note Shrimps has no control over any customs or import duties that could be levied when the package reaches your destination country and for which you will be liable.
You must pay by debit, credit card or via Paypal at the time of the order. The price of any product is the price in force at the date and time of your order. We may change the price of any product before you place an order. Before accepting your order, we will inform you if a product's correct price is higher than that stated in your order and you may cancel the order.
Shrimps Bespoke Service
You are not able to make changes to your design once final production starts, so we strongly advise that any changes you wish to make to your design are done during the pre-production stage.
For all made to order garments, a 50% non-refundable payment (of total garment price) is due at the time the bespoke product development begins and the remainder must be paid before final shipment of the dress. Shrimps LDN Ltd will invoice the client and payment can be made through bank transfer. Garments will not be released until full payment has cleared.
We are not responsible for any change in size that may occur after you have sent your measurements. Do not hesitate to contact us if you are unsure about anything that pertains to your measurements. Shrimps LDN Ltd will not be held responsible for any sizing/fitting mishaps caused by inaccurate measurements.
The client is responsible for any shipping, duties and taxes incurred during delivery of the final garment.
As our bespoke garments are made to order, there are no exchanges or refunds. All sales are final. If the garment balance is late past 14 days we will add a £50 per week charge, or if the garment is left unclaimed past the event date, the garment becomes property of Shrimps LDN Ltd and any deposits or payments are forfeited.
If for any reason the event is cancelled, you are still responsible for full payment of your garment and payment dates originally agreed will remain in force.
As our bespoke garments are made to order, once the bespoke contract is signed you are liable for the full payment at the due date even if you change your mind and no longer wish to take delivery of the item.

1.4 Cancellation of Order
Under the Distance Selling regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within 1 hour after the order confirmation. If you want to cancel your order, you need to notify us in writing at customercare@shrimps.co.uk within 1 hour. Once you have notified us, any sum debited from your credit, debit card or Paypal account will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 14 days of your order.
1.5 Conditions for Returning Goods
All items intended for return must have a Returns Number (RN). RNs must be obtained within 14 working days of receipt of delivery. To obtain a RN number please email customercare@shrimps.co.uk. Once you have received your RN number, please ensure that you follow the instructions emailed to you and send your return within the next 7 working days. Notification of returns received outside of the above time frames will not be accepted. For all returns, except where the item is faulty, you will be required to arrange and pay for the return of the products to us. Please be aware that international customs duties and sales taxes are not refunded for shipments outside the European Community (EC).
We will only accept returns provided that the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return the goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be re-credited to you.
You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the items while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, your entitlement to a refund may be affected. We request that you do not remove tags until you are completely satisfied that the items will not be subject to return within 14 days. We also request that items are returned with their original packaging.
This is not intended to be a full statement of your rights under the distance selling regulations. Full details of your rights under the distance selling regulations are available from you local Citizen’s Advice Bureau or your Local Authority’s Trading Standard’s Office. Shipping charges are not refundable.
1.6 Exchange
Subject to stock availability, we will exchange items that are returned to us within 14 days of being received by you. Please note we can only exchange an item for the same item in a different size. If you want to exchange your order, you need to notify us in writing within those 14 days and request an Exchange Number (EX). Once you have notified us and your return has been received, your new item will be dispatched to you as soon as possible.
1.7 Faulty Goods
All items returned as faulty will be inspected and any items deemed subject to wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty. We will replace a faulty item if a replacement is in stock and available. If you wish to be sent a replacement, please make your request clear when emailing to receive your Returns Number.
In case we cannot offer you a replacement, you will have the choice of receiving a credit note or a refund to the value of the item at the time of purchase and any shipping costs occurred. Please note that refunds onto credit cards can take up to 30 days and are subject to your bank’s refund regulations.
1.8 Liability
Our liability for losses you suffer as a result of us breaking this agreement is strictly limited to the purchase price of the Product you purchased and any losses which are a foreseeable consequence of us breaking the agreement. Losses are foreseeable where they could be contemplated by you and us at the time your order is accepted by us.
You must observe and comply with all applicable regulations and legislation, including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits to purchase goods from our site. The importation or exportation of certain of our goods to you may be prohibited by certain national laws. We make no representation and accept no liability in respect of the export or import of the goods you purchase.
Nothing in these terms and conditions limits any statutory rights you might have as a consumer or our liability to you for any fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.
