Studio Admin Assistant
Iconic British womenswear brand Shrimps is looking for an enthusiastic and organised Studio Admin Assistant to join their London-based team.
About Shrimps
Shrimps was launched in 2013 by London-based designer Hannah Weiland. Weiland is credited with bringing faux fur to the luxury sphere and has since grown Shrimps into a full RTW label, successfully branching into accessories, homeware and bridal. The brand has been involved in many high profile collaborations and has a core following amongst consumers and celebrities alike, who enjoy its niche, whimsical design aesthetic.
The Role
Supporting both the E-com/Marketing Manager and Operations/Production Manager, the successful candidate will work across a wide variety of departments and tasks including (but not limited to):
Shopify admin – adding collections, updating descriptions, working on SEO, managing stock availability, resizing images
Responding to customer service queries regarding orders and processing returns
Order processing for press, staff & wholesale
Wholesale store research and outreach, competitor research
Maintaining samples, logging and processing press loans
Assisting with sampling and production – sourcing, creating tech packs, communicating with suppliers, booking in shipments
Supporting progress towards improved sustainability and decarbonisation
General office / operational admin
Assisting in maintaining the studio, ordering sundries, organising storage, etc
This is a varied role working in a small team, where there are many opportunities to learn about luxury fashion business and to progress within the company.
It is a full time, hybrid role, currently working 2 days from the office in Ladbroke Grove and the remainder from home (subject to change, based on the needs of the company).
The Ideal Candidate
This role would suit an individual who has recently graduated from a fashion and/or business related degree and/or has a maximum of 1-2 years’ experience in an assistant role, preferably in the fashion industry. They must be fluent in English and confident in both written and verbal communication. As it is an admin-focused role, being comfortable working on spreadsheets and other software systems is essential.
Whilst experience in a similar role would be an advantage, it is more important for us to find the right person - someone with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for taking on this varied role.

Is confident with tech and fluent using Microsoft Office and Adobe CS
Experience with social media apps and schedulers, e-com backend software and/or PLM/production software like Zedonk would be advantageous but not essential
