It is no secret that the Shrimps team loves flowers and now that spring has firmly settled, what better way to celebrate than with a flower guide? Here are a few of our favourite flower shops in London to keep your house beaming with colours and scents!

It would be hard to write a flower guide without mentioning this East London staple. Every Sunday, flocks of flower lovers head to E2 to buy cheap floral delights. Our tip: wait until 3pm to grab the best bargains! Two for a fiver, anyone? The road also boasts an array of restaurants and little shops such as Shrimps favourite Lily Vanilli bakery and the lively Printers and Stationers where happy flower shoppers gather and sit on the pavement to enjoy a Spritz and an Oyster.

This lovely shop is a convenient ten minutes walk from our studio. The flowers are picked daily from the market so the offering is always different and exciting! Scarlet and Violet is especially renown for “vintage”, old fashioned and traditional country flowers such as peonies, hollyhocks and delphiniums.

This family run business will have you covered for all your floral needs. Head over to their Richmond location to buy some plants and flowers but also eat some cake in their delightful tea-room.

Petalon Flowers is a flower delivery service. Every Monday 2 bouquets will go online on their website to be ordered for the week. The deliveries are then made across London by bicycle. For every bouquet bought £1 is given to the protection of bees! They also offer workshops and classes.
